1 · Terms of Service (Beta / Pre‑Launch)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing parcelparse.com, joining our wait‑list, or interacting with any pre‑launch demo materials (collectively, the “Beta Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice, and State‑Privacy Rights Addendum. If you do not agree, do not use the Beta Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts. The Beta Services are provided from the United States and intended for U.S. residents.

3. Wait‑List & Early‑Access Program

Submitting your email adds you to a queue for future product access. We make no guarantees regarding admission timing, feature scope, or launch date.

4. Intellectual Property

The ParcelParse name, logo, software, and all Site contents are owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, decompile, or distribute any portion without our prior written consent.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

reverse‑engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works of the Beta Services;interfere with security‑related features;infringe or misappropriate our intellectual property or that of others;violate any applicable law or regulation.

6. Feedback License

By submitting suggestions or improvements, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, modify, and incorporate your feedback without attribution or compensation.

7. No Professional Advice

The Beta Services are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. Consult qualified professionals for advice relating to your specific circumstances.

8. Disclaimers

THE BETA SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON‑INFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE ERROR‑FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARCELPARSE, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ParcelParse and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of (a) your use of the Beta Services, or (b) your breach of these Terms.

11. Class‑Action Waiver & Arbitration

All disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by the American Arbitration Association in Las Vegas, Nevada. You and ParcelParse waive any right to participate in class‑action litigation or class‑wide arbitration. Either party may seek equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Data Storage & Processing Disclaimer

ParcelParse does not permanently store label images, OCR text, or other user‑generated content. All such data is processed solely in volatile memory (RAM), delivered to you (or your specified destination), and automatically purged within seconds. Consequently, we cannot retrieve or restore user‑generated content after processing.

13. Marketing Emails & CAN‑SPAM Compliance

By joining the wait‑list you consent to receive transactional and occasional marketing emails. Every non‑transactional email will (i) identify the sender, (ii) include a valid postal address, and (iii) provide a one‑click unsubscribe link. We honor opt‑out requests within 10 business days.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, excluding its conflicts rules.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last Updated” date and notify you of material changes via email or banner notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Last Updated: May 9, 2025ParcelParse takes your privacy seriously. We collect minimal personal information, retain none of your images or OCR text, and comply with U.S. federal law and all current state‑privacy statutes.

1. Who We Are

ParcelParse (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates an OCR utility that converts shipping labels captured via webcam or file upload into structured data you control (e.g., posting to your Google Sheet). Our mailing address and primary contact appear in §16 of the Terms.

2. Scope

This Policy covers your interactions with parcelparse.com, the wait‑list form, and any beta features (collectively, the “Service”).

4. No Image or Text Retention

We never write user images or extracted text to any persistent storage, database, or backup system. Once processing completes, the data is irreversibly removed from memory.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Contract (GDPR Art 6(1)(b)) — to provide on‑demand OCR.Legitimate Interest (GDPR Art 6(1)(f)) — to secure and improve the Service.Consent — for marketing emails.

6. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

Infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS US‑West) to host the Site;Email vendor (e.g., Postmark) to deliver transactional email;Payment processor (Stripe) if you later upgrade to paid plans.All providers are contractually bound to act only on our instructions and are prohibited from further sharing.

7. International Transfers

All data resides in the United States. If you access the Service from abroad, you consent to U.S. data transfer and processing.

8. Security Measures

9. Data Retention Summary

10. Your Rights

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
